Expansion joints are cuts which are necessarily installed in concrete curbing. As concrete experiences temperature changes, it expands and contracts. Our expansion joints anticipate this and encourage the concrete to move freely at the joints rather than randomly streaking cracks across the smooth face of your curbing. If your curbing shows signs of cracking at the expansion joints this is a good and normal sign observed regularly in concrete work.

Welcome to Perfection Edge’s Instagram account! My name is Paul Pierce and I am the owner and founder of Perfection Edge. After graduating high school, it took me a short while to find out what my passions were and where I was headed. I worked for a concrete curbing company through out high school and I slowly learned the trade during that time. After school I took a big jump in starting my own company and since then it has been such an experience! I love to serve the local community and bring a vision to others. The business started in 2019 and took off from there. I would say this past year (2021) was the best year yet, because I was able to do the work that I love AND I had the honor of marrying the woman that I love. Her name is Anna and she is my prize and my joy. We both are excited to start this account so we can share pictures of the final product and also show more behind the scenes and details of this work.
